Summertime is DAY CAMP TIME at the Howell Conference & Nature Center!

Each June through August, the Howell Conference & Nature Center operates Day Camp (1st-5th grades).  Each week is filled with fun, fun, and more fun!  With themed weeks such as Wacky Water Week, Outdoor Adventures Week, Junior Zookeeper Week, and Survivor Week, a great time is almost guaranteed!

Children spend summer days learning and playing in our unique camp setting.  Our activities have an emphasis on fun, recreation, environmental education, and traditional camp activities – archery, canoeing, swimming, fishing, crafts, scavenger hunts, zip line rides, and more.  Field trips to off-site locations, such as water parks and area zoos, are held weekly.

Camper attendance requirements are flexible – you can sign up for one day, five days, one week or every week.  Before and after care is also available.

Howell Conference & Nature Center is accredited by the American Camp Association and licensed by the State of Michigan.  Our health officers and lifeguards are Red Cross certified.  In addition, we practice a Challenge by Choice philosophy for all activities.
