Spirit of Alexandria Nature CampWe’re proud and grateful that the Spirit of Alexandria Foundation is providing FULL CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS to the SOA Nature Camp for approximately 120 third- to fifth-graders at the Howell Conference & Nature Center.

This year there will be two sessions:

July 22-26, 2013

August 5-9, 2013

Children interested in attending this camp should have a STRONG INTEREST in nature.

If you know of a child that is a “budding naturalist” or a “nature nut” and they are entering 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade, this may be the camp for them!

Campers will enjoy many traditional camp activities, such as zip line rides, canoeing, archery, and swimming. In addition, there will be many special nature-focused activities designed exclusively for this camp, such as field sketching. Children will make new friends, explore and learn about nature, and try new adventures while attending this resident camp.

About the Spirit of Alexandria Foundation

The Spirit of Alexandria Foundation was created to carry on the legacy of Alexandria Bennett, a little girl whose passion for nature and generosity was evident to everyone around her. Through the foundation, it is her family and friends’ mission to help children experience nature and all its wonderment.

To be considered for a possible full scholarship to attend this camp, you MUST NOT have attended Spirit of Alexandria Nature Camp in the past.
