As vegetation begins to grow in spring, wild rabbits may visit your garden, drawn to fresh greens. To deter rabbits without harm: Construct a fence around your garden using two-foot-high chicken wire, ensuring it's staked firmly to the ground to prevent rabbits from squeezing underneath. For individual plants, consider protective enclosures like cut-out plastic jugs, which also double as mini-greenhouses during cooler nights.
