Zip through the air on our 500-ft Zip Line! 
Come experience the thrill of our 500-ft zip line that will take you from one end of a pond to the other! As you zip, you will be 25 feet above the pond at around 20 mph! Be sure to have people from your group take pictures or video of you as you ZIP AWAY!
The minimum age to ride the zip line is 5 years old and there is a weight limit of 250 lbs. Adults must walk down the hill as they begin to zip. This is at the discretion of the staff person in charge.
Please be sure to empty your pockets of any wallets, car keys, cell phones, etc before riding the zip line. The Howell Nature Center is not responsible for any lost or damaged personal items resulting from riding the zip line.

Reservation and prepayment is required in order to do our Zip Line. Please call our office at 517-546-0249 to make a reservation.
Participants must fill out a waiver to ride the zip line.

The Howell Conference & Nature Center operates with a Challenge by Choice philosophy for all activities. Participants choose their level of challenge; they are never forced into an activity. And participants know that they have the positive support of the others in their groups, promoting positive risk-taking, self-confidence, leadership, and teamwork.
Safety
Your safety is a top priority at the Howell Conference & Nature Center. Participants in any adventure activity receive proper instruction and equipment by trained Nature Center staff. We are accredited by the American Camp Association and operate under safety standards of the Association for Challenge Course Technology.
