The “Adopt-an-Animal” program at the Howell Conference & Nature Center raises funds to feed and house our Animal Ambassadors-wild animals that, due to permanent injury or imprinting on humans, cannot be released to their natural habitat. Our facility houses 63 Animal Ambassadors ranging from majestic Bald Eagles to porcupines.
Adopting one of our Animal Ambassadors will give you the satisfaction of knowing you are helping all creatures–residents as well as rehabilitated releases–flourish at the Howell Conference and Nature Center.
Your Animal Adoption will help provide care, including:
- x-rays
- surgeries
- antibiotics
- caging, and
- food
for the 2,300 injured and orphaned animals brought into our facility each year.
